21st century resolution #1: always research academic papers to reduce thinking duplication
I'm going to be a father in the days to come, I'll be 30 next year and, give or take a few years, we're entering the 21st century. So every day, in every way, I become a better second lieutenant (quote from the movie Barcelona). Not a better second lieutenant exactly but you get my drift. Anyway, from now on, everytime I'll think about a "new" idea, I'll look for the bound-to-exist academic papers on the topic, right from the start. Always try to sit on the shoulders of giants (aka leverage external assets.)
