I don't see why we need web services to discover each other, to make them interesting. For that matter, I don't even think it's really going to happen in the years to come. You need trust and judgment to start a business relationship, and we're just not going to let software do that for us ("intelligent" agents, anyone?). Want to find new web services? Let a human read a good ol' directory.
