Google compute a little too hungry?

I'm among the "randomly selected Google Toolbar users" that have the new Google Compute button. Be aware it unashamedly boosts my CPU usage to a constant 100% when turned on (on my Athlon XP 1600/512 Mb Windows XP Pro box). Not really the kind of stuff I want to leave as a background task. At least the Core_65.exe process takes only 4.9Mb in memory.

Here's what the faq states:

"Google Compute runs only when your computer is idle. It is designed to be completely non-intrusive and will not affect your computing environment."

Well, you gotta trust that it won't lag when you need those CPU cycles for another process.
