Ryze Pivots are nice but sucky

Ryze turns your interests and the companies you worked at into "pivots," that is hyperlinks to a list of other pages (i.e. people) which refer to the same words. It's a bless to basically turn whatever you type into a potential interaction. But this "free taxonomy" doesn't work so well: if I type weblogs, the link won't fetch people who declared interest in blogs or web logs or weblogging. Keyword stemming and grouping would be a handy addition.

Sucky is the kind of word that I know doesn't exist but that I can't help using anyway. Must be something about the power to freely choose how to describe concepts. Am I contradicting myself here?
