Dot-Coms Bucking The Trend

WaPo:

"More dot-coms than you'd guess are reporting genuine profits -- not fake "pro forma" income, but real black ink. So far during the second quarter, at least nine big Internet companies -- those valued at more than $500 million -- have reported profits. The biggest are the predictable ones: the America Online division of AOL Time Warner, eBay, Yahoo and Expedia. But also eking out positive results in the period ending June 30 were Hotels.com, E-Trade, Overture, DoubleClick and WebEx Communications."
