Bluegrass Fusion!
You might not think of banjo as a jazz/fusion instrument until you hear it played by Béla Fleck, who makes "blu-bop" an obvious combination. There's the joy of playing together from Deliverance's only happy scene (or was it really? Maybe the duelling format is foreshadowing?) without the appalling follow-up!
