"The online real estate company overstated its online advertising revenue by as much as $95 million in the first three quarters of 2001, Homestore announced on Wednesday. The company said the figure was just an initial estimate, but that it overstated its revenue by at least $54 million during the period."

More details on RealtyTimes. Homestor is trying to renegociate royalties on data feeds from MLSs. Some people jumped board while it was time to do so. Recovery? Guess who‘s going to benefit from that demise (because where can you go when you relied on your stock as a currency?)
