Adding iPaas Triggers: Zapier vs. MS Flow UIs

Microsoft just updated its Flow SaaS integrator, and one of the changes (pictured left in the above screenshot) mirrors Zapier’s UI (pictured right), down to the pricing tier (premium or not) icon. This autocomplete search/filter pattern works great when a list or even grid would be overwhelming.

Zapier would do well to imitate its imitator because Microsoft’s surfacing of available triggers tells you right away whether what you’d like to accomplish with a source is in fact available. Just because these integration apps list a SaaS doesn’t mean everything that’s available from the SaaS API, let alone its native UI, is available. The Zapier requires the user to go through an extra set for lack of information density in their drop-down.
