Excellent idea, thanks to Phil for pointing to it. This will make a lot more sense to the overwhelming majority of people who don’t know what RSS is (someone reading The End of Free thought the links behind our Radio and Amphetadesk icons were broken) and will reduce clutter. Right now, these icons remind me of the 1996 browser stickers. This site works in Internet Explorer. Doh, no kidding. RSS should be transparent (I think Brent Simmons already mused about that issue).
